WINTER SEASON 2026 REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN & UPDATE ON OUR TRIALS PROCESS…
Standard trials will remain the same for Winter 2026 and continue to be the primary way teams are selected at St Joseph’s. We also have a new alternative option for U11 and above players to consider.
Standard Trials: Sunday 1 & Sunday 8 February 2026:
These are for players who wish to be assessed and considered for placement in the highest appropriate team. (U8-U9 Come & Try Program will also run across both these dates).
NEW (Optional for U11 and above): Friend-based / Social PlacementTo provide a more inclusive option, players in U11 and above may choose not to participate in formal trials if their priority is playing socially or with friends. Players choosing this option:• Attend one team placement session (held alongside Week 1 trials)• Are placed into teams based on friend requests, team balance and experience (not top-team selection)
Team Placement Session: Sunday 1 February 2026:
Teams may be formed under the new option as:
Individual placement
Small friend groups (up to 4 players)
Full team nomination (coach required)
All teams at St Joseph’s are equally valued and supported. Final team formation and grading remains the responsibility of the club.
