VOLUNTEERING
We appreciate all volunteers that help and support us each year – they are the lifeblood of our sporting club.
We are always looking to encourage parents to come and join the committee and help by way of volunteering.

UMPIRING
If you would like to become an umpire at St Josephs Netball Club, please contact our umpire coordinator at
Junior umpires can umpire from age 14, if you would like to be trained as one of our umpires we will hold umpire training during the season and you will be provided with a training shirt and whistle.
COACHING
We are in the process of organizing a training session for those volunteers that would like to get involved in coaching.
Training will be with Ann Maree who has an abundance of experience in coaching and umpiring.

What are the Codes of Conduct?
SAUCNA CODES OF CONDUCT
SAUCNA have a strict code of conduct for players, spectators and officials. Bad language or general misconduct from players, officials or spectators will not be tolerated.
PLAYERS
- Play by the rules.
- Be a Good sport.
- Never argue with the umpire’s decision.
- Control your temper.
- Verbal abuse of officials or other players, deliberately contacting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted.
- Work hard for yourself and your team.
- Your team will benefit and so will you.
- Cheer all good play by both teams and encourage each other.
- Your captain can approach the umpire during the breaks or at the completion of the match and ask any questions if they so desire.
SPECTATORS
- Encourage your team to play by the rules.
- Do not abuse officials.
- Do not argue with any umpire or team official.
- Act as a role model and lead by example.
- Be reasonable in your expectations.
SCORERS
- Must sit together.
COACHES
- Must coach from the coaches box only (this is the area left of the umpire).
- Coaches are not allowed to walk around the court.
